Cupertino storm drain upgrade to cause lane closures

The City of Cupertino storm drain upgrade began last week, Wednesday Oct. 11, along N. Foothill Boulevard and Cupertino Road.

The upgrade includes installation of 18-inch piping to help reduce potential flooding.

Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be lane closures and traffic control.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-January.
