The 4th annual Fall Family Bike Fest featuring “Pedal 4 the Planet Family Bike Rides” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Cupertino City Hall Parking Lot, 10300 Torre Ave.
From 9:30 a.m. to noon, two-wheeled participants will have a chance to join the Cupertino Safe Routes 2 School and the Bicycle Pedestrian Commission for a skills course, obstacle course, rodeo and bike rides. The rides will feature two heats touring city schools, parks and landmarks including a leisurely 6-mile ride, best for families, or a 13-mile ride.
Experienced cyclists and bicycle education experts will chaperone and lead the activities and a Bicycle Blender will be on-hand to fuel cyclists with refreshing smoothies.
Community members should plan to arrive early to sign ride and rodeo waiver forms. For more information, contact saferoutes@cupertino.org.
