Get your free flu shot at the library

During the month of October, the Santa Clara County Public Health Departments are partnering with the Santa Clara County Library District to provide free flu shots for the community.

Public Health Nurses will be administering the shots from October 3 through October 26.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it is recommended to receive the flu vaccine before the end of October, especially because it takes about two weeks post vaccination for the antibodies to protect against the flu.
