Apparently even dogs need swim lessons. On Saturday, Sept. 30, Cupertino’s dogs are invited to attend 1-hour swim lessons at Blackberry Farm Park from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
“Not only is this fun for your dog, but it is also for a good cause,” organizers said. “The price to sign your dog up for this great activity is $10, but all proceeds will go to benefit the K9 hurricane victims.”
Participating dogs must show proof of vaccinations, and two dogs are allowed per handler. Dogs must remain on leash when not in the water. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave and will not be refunded. While lifeguards are on duty, dogs swim at their owner’s risk and humans are not allowed in the water.
