Diwali Festival to light up Cupertino on Sept. 30

The 15th Annual Bay Area Diwali Festival of Lights will return to Cupertino on Saturday, September 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Memorial Park, 10185 N. Stelling Road.

Over 15,000 people are anticipated to attend this year’s festival, which will showcase a traditional Rangoli display, multicultural music, dance, workshops, food, and arts and crafts. A Kids Zone will feature a magic show, petting zoo, pony rides, jump houses, face painting and other activities throughout the day. The Diwali Festival aims to bring community together in celebration of intercultural understanding that promotes economic prosperity.

The free annual event is hosted by the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and its Asian American Business Council (AABC) and is open to the public.
