Some dance to remember, some dance to forget — but brain experts want to educate Cupertino residents on how cutting a rug and other stimulating activities can improve and preserve brain health and function.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, locals are invited to attend the Cupertino Senior Center’s Dance to Remember event, where they can learn about brain health, enjoy food, listen to live music and dance.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 21251 Stevens Creek Blvd.
The Senior Center has partnered with the Whole Brain Health Initiative, an organization aiming to reduce the rates of Dementia, improve recovery rates for people with traumatic brain injuries and provide guidance for lifestyle modifications that can improve brain function.
At Dance to Remember, specialists from the organization will be on hand to share their expertise.
Register at the Senior Center before Sept. 15 and pay $15 for admission. Senior center members pay $10.
