Pull out those boxes cluttering your storage space and post them for sale at Cupertino’s annual Citywide Garage Sale on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hosted by the City of Cupertino, the event aims to bring waste reduction and recycling to residents’ doorsteps. The program emphasizes reuse, repurpose, and charitable giving rather than throwing away. Participants are encouraged to clean out garages, attics, and closets to make money and prevent items from going into landfills.
The City organizes registration and regional advertising and the participants keep the profits. And, the service is FREE!
Residents and community organizations are encouraged to register to hold garage sales at their homes or join with neighbors to hold block sales by September 1. Registration is required for those who want their sales added to a citywide map that will be made available on the City’s website and at City facilities.
